Some work places and facilities use high purity filtered compressed air for various reasons, not necessarily for breathing. Compressed air is used in the food industry, in pharmaceutical industry processes such as drying and general industry for any number of processes. The common thread is that the air needs to be filtered and maintained at a certain level of purity to prevent contamination of the various products with which it has contact.

There are many published levels of air quality and we are able to test for almost any requirement.

For gravimetric determinations we carry out all steps of the testing procedure including pre-weighing of the filter/cassette and weighing of the contaminated filter/cassette. The contaminated filter is carefully transported to our weighing room and left to equalise to weighing room conditions.

Our balance is a five decimal place micro balance which meets the requirements of AS34334 and A 3435.
